Meyer & Dana Orthodontics We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Records Technician to join our team! Do you enjoy working with people, love technology, and have an eye for detail? What You'll Do As an Records Technician, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience by capturing the diagnostic records our doctors use to create beautiful, healthy smiles.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking digital orthodontic photographs Capturing digital impressions using our state-of-the-art scanners Taking panoramic and CBCT X-rays (certification provided) Preparing patients for their records appointment Ensuring patient records are complete and accurate Maintaining imaging equipment and following all sterilization and safety protocols Working closely with our doctors, clinical assistants, and treatment coordinators What We're Looking For Positive, energetic attitude Outstanding customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail Comfortable using computers and technology Dependable, organized, and a team player Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person! Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in medical/dental office administration or health information management is a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Basic computer proficiency, including dental management software, Microsoft Office, and digital imaging systems Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
