See what we're about: https://youtu.be/WGqTDxMjtN0?si=Yyo6WbEJfseJ0mTb Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic TMS and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) Technician to join our mental health and behavioral care team. In this role, you will help deliver two of the most promising treatments in modern psychiatry: non-invasive brain stimulation therapy for depression and treatment-resistant mood disorders, and ketamine-assisted therapy sessions that support patients through a monitored, clinically guided experience. You will work closely with our providers to ensure every session is safe, effective, and handled with compassion. This is a paid position with full on the job training and certification provided for both TMS and KAT, so no prior experience with either modality is required. What we do need is someone with a healthcare background and a genuine dedication to the science of mental health, someone who will go the extra mile for patients on a hard road. Duties TMS Prepare and set up TMS equipment according to manufacturer specifications and treatment protocols Operate TMS devices safely while monitoring patients' responses during treatment sessions Observe and record patient reactions, behaviors, and progress during therapy sessions for clinical review Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) Prepare the treatment room and equipment for ketamine infusion/administration sessions per clinic protocol Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) throughout ketamine sessions Support patients through the dissociative experience with a calm, reassuring presence Recognize and respond to adverse reactions, escalating to the provider immediately when needed Assist with post-session recovery monitoring and discharge readiness checks Shared Clinical Duties Conduct patient intake assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation Explain procedures thoroughly to patients, addressing questions and easing any anxiety before and during sessions Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic health records (EHR) system in compliance with HIPAA Assist with clinical coordination: scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Support patients with diverse needs, including those with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and co-occurring conditions Requirements Healthcare experience required: CNA, LPN, X-ray tech, medical assistant, EMT, or similar clinical background Comfortable taking and monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in patient status Proficiency with medical terminology and EHR systems First aid and CPR certification preferred; ability to respond calmly and swiftly in emergency situations Strong communication skills with patients of all ages and backgrounds A compassionate, steady presence, especially with patients navigating a mental health crisis or a difficult treatment day Genuine interest in and dedication to the science of mental health and psychiatric treatment Willingness to complete on the job training and certification in both TMS and ketamine-assisted therapy protocols What We Offer Full paid training and certification in TMS and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, no prior experience with either required The chance to work at the forefront of treatment-resistant depression care in Southeast Idaho A small, mission-driven clinic environment where your work directly changes patients' lives Room to grow professionally as our treatment offerings expand Join us in transforming mental health care in Southeast Idaho.
