Job Description

Beacon Children's Hospital has an immediate opening for a PRN Dietary Aide/Cook . We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner Monitor food quality and presentation Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure efficient meal service Assist with menu planning and recipe development Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment Follow proper food handling and storage procedures Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Requirements:
Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary setting Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Please note that this is a general job description for a Dietary Cook position.
