$28.00-$33.00+ per Hour (DOE) Join the Rossmoor Post Acute Team Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our team as a Part-Time Dietary Supervisor. This leadership role is ideal for a dietary professional who is passionate about providing exceptional nutritional services while supporting a team dedicated to resident care and satisfaction. Position Summary The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dietary Department, ensuring residents receive nutritious, appetizing meals that meet physician-prescribed diets and regulatory requirements. This position supervises dietary staff, promotes food safety, and helps create a positive dining experience for our residents. Schedule Part-Time (Approximately 24 Hours Per Week) Weekend coverage is the priority Preferred schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Flexible scheduling available: Friday may be substituted with Monday or another weekday if needed We are open to discussing schedules such as three weekends per month for the right candidate Essential Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Dietary Department. Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician-ordered diets and approved menus. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local dietary, sanitation, and food safety regulations. Oversee food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and quality assurance. Train, mentor, and support dietary staff while promoting teamwork and accountability. Monitor food temperatures, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices. Assist with menu implementation, inventory management, purchasing, and cost control. Collaborate with nursing, administration, and the interdisciplinary care team to meet residents' nutritional needs. Participate in state survey readiness and regulatory compliance activities. Maintain accurate department records and documentation. Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required. Previous supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, rehabilitation center, or healthcare dietary department preferred. Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety standards, and long-term care regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Passion for providing outstanding service to residents and supporting a collaborative team culture.
