The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals to our senior residents. As a you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and guidelines.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and notify supervisor of any shortages.
• Monitor residents' dietary needs and preferences, and make appropriate accommodations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families, ensuring their dining experience is positive and enjoyable.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a dietary aide role or a similar position is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient nature.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as trays of food or supplies.
