GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The dietary aide performs various designated work and cleaning routines within the Dietary Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with facility's personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures. Comply with Nursing Department's policies and procedures. Report witnessed allegations of resident abuse and/or neglect. Treat residents, family members, visitors and team members with dignity and respect. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information. Maintain electronic and/or written records without omitting or falsify information. Ability to use and/or learn how to use in a proficient manner approved electronic devices that are used for documentation and/or recording keeping. Will have active participation in QAPI including but not limited to meetings, implementation and continued development. Report to work on time and as scheduled. May function in any of the following positions: tray person, dining room waitress, dietary helper I or II, dish room. Responsible for cleanliness of work area. Assist in loading carts and serving meals. Follow safety codes while performing all duties. Follow defined infection control procedures. Dining room setup and cleanup. Wash and store dishes within state regulations Provide assistance to cook in the preparation and service of meals. Attentive to residents and guests needs. Conducts self in a respectable manner at all times.
