Duties Assist with food preparation, including assembling and portioning meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and serving tools Handle weighty items and process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems Serve food to guests in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience Follow manual handling protocols to ensure safety when moving supplies or heavy items Support catering and banquet events by preparing and serving meals in line with event requirements Adhere to food handling regulations and food safety management practices to prevent contamination or spoilage Maintain a clean environment through regular cleaning routines, including dishwashing and surface sanitizing Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and addressing their needs promptly Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially with fine dining or catering experience Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with POS systems and processing cash transactions accurately Familiarity with wine knowledge or barista experience is a plus for enhancing guest interactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in person with diverse guests Physical ability to handle weighty items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling tasks safely Basic math skills for accurate portioning, measurements, and transaction processing Embark on a rewarding career where your culinary skills and passion for hospitality make a difference!
