Evercare of Calhoun is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is every other weekend and to help cover shifts as needed through the week. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care by preparing and serving meals, managing food allergies and special diets, and maintaining a clean and organized food service environment. Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and guidelines Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and menu planning Assist with food preparation, including food processing, cooking, and plating Manage food allergies and special diets, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment Participate in inventory management, ordering, and receiving food and supplies Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient and effective food service operations

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age 0 years of experience in the food service industry or a related field Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong communication skills
