We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment while ensuring the buffet, servery, and pantry areas are fully stocked, sanitary, and ready for meal service. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the dining room for lunch service by ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for guests. Sweep and mop dining room floors before and after meal service. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room throughout the shift. Oversee the buffet, servery, and pantry areas to ensure they remain clean, stocked, and organized. Refill food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed during meal service. Clean and sanitize buffet, servery, and pantry areas in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with stocking inventory and maintaining adequate supplies. Follow all sanitation, infection control, and food safety guidelines. Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members. Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Chef on Duty.

Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent Prior waitstaff or professional front and back house kitchen experience preferred Excellent customer service and professional communication skills Ability to provide friendly, compassionate service to patients and staff Strong attention to detail with focus on cleanliness and overall presentation Willingness to work both as part of a small fast paced team, but also independently Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Ability to work in the evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
