Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide/Cook, where you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to residents in assisted living setting. This energetic position offers the opportunity to combine culinary skills with compassionate service, ensuring residents enjoy wholesome meals in a clean and safe environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes well-being and satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, menus, and safety standards Assist with food production, including cooking, portioning, and plating dishes efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular sanitation, cleaning, and bussing Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Support the dietary department by assisting with meal delivery, setup, and table service for residents Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet scheduled meal times Follow all safety regulations related to food service, sanitation, and kitchen operations Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy meal periods Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience working in dietary or food service roles within healthcare environments is a plus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Customer service orientation with a caring attitude toward residents' needs Join us to make a meaningful difference through nourishing meals and compassionate service! Pay:
