Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide/Cook and play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals that enhance the well-being of our residents. This dynamic position combines culinary expertise with compassionate service, ensuring that each meal meets dietary requirements and safety standards. You will work closely with the dietary department to prepare, serve, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment while supporting residents' nutritional needs in a warm, caring setting. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for all.
Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and service. Serve residents in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures. Assist the culinary team with additional duties as needed. Provide respectful and compassionate service to older adults.
Qualifications:
Dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive and compassionate attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks. Previous food-service or senior-living experience is preferred but not required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to pass the required background check. Serve residents in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures. Assist the culinary team with additional duties as needed. Provide respectful and compassionate service to older adults.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
