Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our assisted living team. The Dietary Aide will support the dietary department by assisting with food preparation, service, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, customer service, and kitchen operations, with a strong commitment to promoting residents' well-being through quality meal service. Experience Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices is desirable Experience in food handling, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is beneficial Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal prep and service schedules Customer service skills to interact positively with residents or patients Knowledge of dietetics or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to resident care through nutritious meal service while developing valuable skills within a supportive healthcare environment.
