Job Description

The Beautiful Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing facility located in Westchester County seeks a Perdiem Dietary Aide to join our team. If you're looking to be a part of a dynamic team, we would love to meet you! We are located at 65 Ashburton Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701. Perdiem shift 11:30am-7:30pm Daily Pay! Position Summary The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation, service, and delivery of meals and snacks to residents in a nursing home or long-term care facility. This role helps ensure that residents receive nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and portion food items according to menus and therapeutic diet plans. Set up meal trays and ensure correct meals are delivered to residents. Serve meals and beverages in dining rooms and resident units. Assist residents during mealtimes as directed by nursing staff. Follow special diet instructions, including texture-modified diets and food allergies. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, dining areas, and food carts. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using approved sanitation procedures. Stock food, supplies, and beverages as needed. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility food safety regulations. Monitor food temperatures and document as required. Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff. Attend required staff meetings and training programs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
