Full Job Description Dietary Aide Job Summary:

We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietary Aide to join our team at The Village at Marymount in Garfield Heights, Ohio. As a Dietary Aide, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional culinary care to our residents, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need to thrive. Responsibilities:

Review daily menus and prep plans before the first pot hits the stove Ensure residents receive the correct meals for their prescribed diets Complete required forms, reports, and documentation accurately and on time Coordinate with Nursing, Dietitian, and other departments to keep meals running smoothly Implement diet changes and new diet orders received from Nursing Services Help standardize kitchen processes so meals are prepared efficiently and on schedule Ensure menus are maintained and filed per facility policies Build positive working relationships across all departments Help create a warm, calm, and welcoming kitchen environment Communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and leadership Participate in departmental projects and improvement initiatives Attend workshops, seminars, and required in-services Prepare meals according to planned menus, recipes, and diet orders Create food that looks great, tastes great, and follows portion guidelines Prepare therapeutic and special diets with accuracy and care Serve bedtime snacks and substitute food options when residents refuse a meal Review care plans to ensure dietary needs match what's being served Make sure each tray is complete with appropriate utensils and equipment

Requirements:

Previous food service/culinary experience is

REQUIRED

SNF or ALF experience strongly preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety standards Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate mindset Pride in preparing food that truly matters Why The Village at Marymount?
