Las Alturas de Penitas, 414 Liberty St., Penitas, TX, 78576 Job Summary Las Alturas de Penitas is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents, ensuring dietary needs and safety standards are met. This role is essential in supporting the overall health and well-being of our community members. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Help with the setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meal service. Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, accommodating special dietary needs and restrictions. Monitor food inventory and report shortages or issues to the dietary supervisor. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly. Follow all safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Collaborate with dietary and nursing staff to ensure resident satisfaction and nutritional needs are met. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or healthcare dietary setting is a plus. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings as required. Work Environment This position involves working in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment within a healthcare facility.
