COOK/DIETARY AIDE

Grantsburg, WI • Dietary Job Type Part-time Description Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Cook/Dietary Aide to work in our busy dietary department.

SHIFT & HOURS

0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period), includes weekends and holidays; Cook hours: 5am-1:30pm/10am-6:30pm Dietary Aide hours: 6am-2:30pm This is a benefit-eligible position including PTO, medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, along with an opportunity to participate in our 401k retirement plan which includes up to a 3% match.

JOB SUMMARY

Preparing meals, cooking and serving nursing home residents, hospital patients, employees and the public, following recipes, practices and procedures, and complying with regulatory requirements. Cleaning and cross-trained for positions to fill-in for vacations, etc. Requirements One year of institutional cooking experience preferred. Will train the right candidate. Must be able to follow and understand recipes, written instructions, and labels and communicate with dietary personnel. Must be 18 years old. Dependable. Must be able to stand on feet for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to stand room temperatures up to at least 90 degrees.
