Ontario, CA Pay:
$37•45 per hour | Part-Time Opportunities NorthStar Healing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our clinical team. We provide specialized, whole-person treatment for individuals struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges in a supportive PHP/IOP setting. Our approach focuses on helping clients develop a healthy relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves through compassionate, evidence-based, individualized care. What You'll Do Provide individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, and ongoing nutrition support. Develop and implement nutrition plans appropriate for clients with eating disorders. Provide nutrition education and support within PHP and IOP programming. Collaborate closely with therapists, medical providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Support clients with meal planning, food exposure, nutritional rehabilitation, and development of sustainable eating patterns. Monitor nutritional progress and communicate clinical recommendations to the treatment team. Participate in treatment planning and clinical documentation. Foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients and their families. Conditions We Treat Our programs provide specialized care for: Anorexia Nervosa Bulimia Nervosa Binge Eating Disorder OSFED and other eating disorders Co-occurring conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD What We're Looking For Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Experience working with eating disorders strongly preferred. Knowledge of eating-disorder treatment, nutritional rehabilitation, and intuitive/normalized eating principles. Strong communication, documentation, and clinical collaboration skills. Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to working with clients. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in PHP, IOP, residential, behavioral health, or similar settings is a plus. Why NorthStar?
