Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team, committed to improving patient outcomes through expert nutritional care. In this vital role, you will assess individual nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide comprehensive nutrition counseling. Your expertise will support patients across diverse settings, including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations to identify specific dietary needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on nutrition support, weight management, chronic disease management, and geriatrics. Provide expert nutrition counseling and health coaching to motivate patients toward healthier lifestyles and dietary habits. Supervise and guide dietetic assistants or interns, ensuring quality standards in dietary department operations. Manage medical nutrition therapy (MNT), including tube feeding protocols and specialized dietary interventions for acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on dietary modifications tailored to their medical diagnoses and personal preferences. Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adjust nutrition plans accordingly for optimal outcomes. Stay current with advancements in clinical nutrition, physiology knowledge, and dietetics best practices to enhance patient care. Skills Proven experience in clinical nutrition, including medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and weight loss programs. Strong knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and chronic disease management. Expertise in nutrition counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing to foster positive behavioral change. Experience working with individuals with specific dietary needs across diverse populations including geriatrics and hospital patients. Supervising experience within dietary departments or healthcare settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination. Skilled in providing health coaching focused on lifestyle modifications for improved health outcomes. Familiarity with tube feeding protocols, nutritional analysis software, and diagnostic evaluation tools. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans.
