Job Description

Dietitian Come join us at Mount Carmel Care Center! We are a Faith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Twice voted "Best of the Berkshires," we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents. We are seeking to hire a Registered Dietitian - Part-Time. $40 to $54 per hour based on skills and experience. 10 hours per week.
Registered Dietitian Qualifications:
Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care. Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy. Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care. Excellent client services, organization and communication skills are essential. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care.
