Full Time. Days. Full Benefits. Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Dietitian! We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. At least two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred. Previous experience in acute care, outpatient care, and/or long-term care/skilled nursing settings preferred. Familiarity with Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) programs preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provides nutritional care across a variety of settings, including acute inpatient care, outpatient care, long-term care, and skilled nursing facilities . This position will provide services at all Aspire Rural Health System locations and requires regular travel between facilities using the employee's own vehicle. Effectively screens and assesses patients and provides nutritional recommendations and interventions based on individual needs and applicable nutritional care standards and regulations. Completes follow-up evaluations and monitors patient progress following nutritional interventions.
