Foundations Nutrition is Hiring an Outpatient Registered Dietitian Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Foundations Nutrition is a weight-inclusive nutrition therapy private practice specializing in eating disorders, body image concerns, and pediatric/family nutrition. We are expanding to Boone, North Carolina and are excited to add a new team member to our growing practice.
Job Type and Title:
Full Time Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Hours:
18-20 client sessions per week
Location:
Boone, NC with opportunity to provide hybrid in-person and remote care Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and nutrition counseling using evidenced based treatment to clients who have eating disorders, disordered eating, or general MNT needs
Conduct initial individual/family nutrition assessments and provide follow up nutrition sessions to implement nutrition interventions, monitor, and evaluate progress
Sessions to be held in office or via telehealth when appropriate
Manage consistent schedule and caseload of clients
Document client sessions and treatment plans thoroughly in electronic medical records system provided by Foundations Nutrition
Collaborate with treatment teams, clients, and staff in a timely manner
Network to build and manage referral relationships
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in a related field
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and licensure in North Carolina required
Relevant experience working with eating disorders from a non-diet, weight-neutral approach
Passionate about working with clients with eating disorders and disordered eating in an individual counseling environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients and other providers from diverse cultural, educational, and ethnic backgrounds
Knowledge of and adherence to ethical standards in dietetics
Attention to detail and strong time management skills
Preferred Experience:
