Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Dietitian, where you will play a vital role in promoting optimal nutritional health and supporting patients across diverse settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and chronic disease management to improve patient outcomes. As a Registered Dietitian, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, develop personalized care plans, and empower individuals to achieve their nutritional goals through evidence-based interventions. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status, medical history, and dietary needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans tailored to specific health conditions such as diabetes, geriatrics, or weight management. Provide nutrition counseling and education using motivational interviewing techniques to motivate behavioral change and improve health outcomes. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition support into overall patient care. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Supervise dietary staff and oversee the preparation of specialized diets including tube feeding and other medical nutrition therapies (MNT). Stay current with advances in clinical nutrition, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation methods to ensure best practices are followed. Requirements Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from an accredited program with active licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience in clinical nutrition settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or acute care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and dietary management for chronic diseases. Experience working with individuals with specific dietary needs including tube feeding and specialized care plans. Skilled in nutritional analysis, diagnostic evaluation, and developing effective care strategies for diverse populations including geriatrics. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Excellent client communication skills combined with experience in nutrition counseling and motivational interviewing techniques. Pay:
$2,300.00 - $2,600.00 per week
