Registered Dietitian Brentwood Nursing Home - 3.2 Warwick, RI Job Details Part-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Registered Dietitian Full Job Description We are currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) with Long-Term Care (LTC) experience to join our healthcare team in providing quality nutrition care to residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to positively impact the health and well-being of older adults in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Complete initial nutrition assessments , care plans, and MDS (Minimum Data Set) as part of the care planning process. Attend weekly risk meetings and monitor residents for weight loss or other nutrition-related concerns. Oversee the dietary department to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations . Provide input into menu planning and develop therapeutic diets tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team. Ensure adherence to nutrition standards and best practices in a long-term care setting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field. Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing settings preferred. Strong knowledge of MDS assessments and regulatory requirements for dietary services in LTC. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Why Join Us?
