Job Description
Overview Are you driven and proactive? We want you!! Join our dedicated senior care team as a full-time Dietary Manager, where you will lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of nutritional services tailored to our residents' needs.

This vital role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring that dietary practices comply with health regulations while promoting optimal wellness. You will oversee the dietary department's operations, manage staff, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional nutrition care in a compassionate environment. Your energetic approach and management skills will help foster a positive dining experience and support residents' health and quality of life. Responsibilities Oversee individualized care plans that incorporate clinical nutrition principles, ensuring they meet residents' specific health requirements. Manage daily dietary operations, including menu planning, food preparation standards, and food safety compliance in accordance with health regulation policies. Supervise dietary staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service and teamwork. Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional needs, including specialized considerations such as tube feeding or diagnostic evaluations. Ensure accurate documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for all dietary services, including care plans and progress notes. Monitor food safety management practices to uphold sanitation standards and prevent contamination or foodborne illnesses. Collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust nutrition strategies based on physiology knowledge, acute care requirements, or changes in residents' health status. Manage departmental budgeting, inventory control, and procurement processes to optimize resource utilization while maintaining quality standards. Experience Proven experience in assisted living or senior care settings with a strong understanding of patient assessment and care planning. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in dietary departments or clinical nutrition teams. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to food safety, nutrition standards, and EHR/EHR management systems. Familiarity with managing tube feeding protocols, diagnostic evaluation procedures, and acute care nutritional interventions. Strong background in dietetics or clinical nutrition with a focus on physiology and care plan development. Experience in managing food safety programs, budgeting processes, and team management within a healthcare environment. Excellent communication skills for health coaching and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote resident well-being.
