Job Description

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be instrumental in the nutritional care of patients, upholding the highest standards in dietetics and nutrition. This role involves performing nutritional assessments, providing patient education, and formulating recommendations based on clinical status or medical referrals, all while fostering positive working relationships. Your Impactful Responsibilities Direct and supervise activities related to the nutritional care of patients. Maintain accepted standards of dietetics and nutrition as recommended by relevant professional bodies and department policies. Provide patient instructions and education on nutritional matters. Complete thorough nutritional assessments for patients. Make appropriate nutritional recommendations based on clinical status or medical doctor referrals. Who We're Looking For We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian with a Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field. While a graduate degree is preferred, your commitment to patient care and adherence to professional standards are paramount. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Dietitian or registration-eligible, with the ability to successfully pass the registration examination within 90 days of hire. Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are a plus, and one to two years of related experience as a clinical dietitian is highly preferred. You will also need a current license from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians or the ability to obtain it within 120 days of hire after passing the registration exams.
