Job Summary The Quality Assurance Dietitian serves as a leader in quality management and performance improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in clinical nutrition services, operations and food safety. This role conducts compliance and chart audits, provides technical support for electronic systems, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations. In addition, the position delivers medical nutrition therapy in the patient care setting, and education, facilitates staff training and development, and serves as a resource to support departmental, system, and organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications Degrees:
Bachelor's Degree Food and Nutrition or Dietetics or related field of study.
Licenses & Certifications:
Licensed Dietitian Licensed by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Dietitians. Must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Required
  • Registered Dietitian Commission on Dietetic Registration. Required
  • ServeSafe Certified or qualified equivalent
Work Experience:
Four (4) Years Work Experience In Dietetics/Nutrition and/or healthcare food service operations.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
Writing/Correspondence Writing/Reports School Education Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Other Knowledge Skills or Abilities Microsoft 365
