We're looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and results-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our healthcare leadership team. In this key leadership role, you'll partner closely with the Director of Nursing to drive clinical excellence, strengthen team performance, and ensure every resident/patient receives the highest standard of care. This is more than a management position—it's an opportunity to mentor nurses, improve systems, champion quality, and help shape a culture where exceptional care is the standard. What You'll Do
Lead & Inspire:
Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations while providing hands-on leadership, coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance to nursing staff.
Build a
Strong Team:
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative nursing culture where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
Optimize Staffing:
Coordinate staffing and scheduling to maintain appropriate coverage, promote continuity of care, and respond effectively to changing patient/resident needs.
Champion Clinical Excellence:
Monitor clinical practices and outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement evidence-based strategies that elevate quality of care.
Drive Quality & Compliance:
Lead and participate in audits, quality assurance initiatives, performance improvement activities, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Develop Future Leaders:
Support ongoing education, competency development, orientation, and professional growth initiatives that strengthen the nursing team.
Improve Operations:
Collaborate with leadership to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, solve operational challenges, and enhance the overall patient/resident experience.
Support Strategic Initiatives:
Contribute to organizational planning and initiatives designed to improve care delivery, staff engagement, efficiency, and long-term growth.
Manage Resources Wisely:
Assist with departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and cost-control strategies while maintaining high standards of care.
Stay Ahead of Regulations:
Ensure nursing practices remain aligned with applicable state and federal laws, healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies. What You Bring
Proven leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong background in nursing supervision and team development.
Strong knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations, state requirements, and nursing practice standards.
Experience with quality assurance, performance improvement, compliance, and clinical auditing.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational decision-making.
Experience in health services administration, nursing leadership, or a related healthcare management role preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, hold others accountable, and build strong working relationships.
A passion for developing people and creating a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care.

Pay:
$72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
