Job Overview A busy ASC seeking a Director of Nursing (DON)/Administrator, who can support in all areas, ie. administration, OR circulation, Preoperative and Postoperative care areas. Provide visionary leadership to the clinical and non-clinical staff, managing shift schedules, and fostering professional and business development. The position qualifies for a joining bonus of $5000 upon successful completion of 1 year interval.

2+ OR Circulation experience 2+ DON experience. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing/Administrator to lead and oversee the clinical operations of our ASC. This pivotal role combines nursing leadership with administrative expertise to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Provide strategic leadership for nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient and resident care across all departments including assisted living, memory care, hospice, and home health services Oversee daily operations of the nursing team, including shift management, staffing schedules, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as Medicare, HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and other regulatory bodies Develop, review, and update individualized care plans in accordance with residents' needs and regulatory requirements Supervise clinical staff including nurse managers and direct caregivers; foster professional development through coaching and training Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems; review documentation for accuracy and completeness Manage regulatory audits, inspections, and reporting processes to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and standards Lead efforts in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, resident rights, and overall care excellence Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care that respects residents' physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology understanding Promote a culture of compassionate care emphasizing dignity, respect, and resident rights at all times Requirements Proven experience in ASC administration or long-term care facility management with demonstrated leadership in nursing administration Extensive experience in OR circulation, staffing, medication management, and vendor management Strong knowledge of ASC regulations including Medicare requirements and HIPAA compliance Excellent supervisory skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments Deep understanding of patient care principles related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication management Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while maintaining high standards of quality assurance Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents' families, regulatory agencies, and community partners Active RN license or higher nursing qualification required; management or administrator certification preferred

Pay:

$114,705.33 - $145,000.00 per year
