Executive Director / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Woodbury, CT $141,000 to $156,000 per year A nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Woodbury is hiring an Executive Director / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to provide overall operational and strategic leadership. This role oversees daily operations, drives high-quality resident care, ensures state and federal regulatory compliance, manages fiscal resources, and fosters a collaborative, team-oriented workplace culture. Schedule Full time, direct hire. Compensation $141,000 to $156,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do This role provides strategic leadership and clear direction to staff across all facility departments, building collaboration and supporting professional growth, while overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure continuous, high-quality care delivery and strong resident outcomes. The Executive Director ensures full compliance with all applicable State of Connecticut and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing homes, and demonstrates financial and operational management by developing and overseeing budgets and allocating organizational resources effectively. The role fosters a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture that promotes staff retention and teamwork, and engages directly with residents and their families to maintain a resident and family focused culture, support positive care outcomes, and maximize satisfaction. The Executive Director leads facility quality assurance, regulatory audit preparation, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives, and participates in community engagement and other organizational initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the State of Connecticut Proven executive or administrator leadership experience within a skilled nursing facility environment Strong, in-depth knowledge of Connecticut state health department codes and federal CMS regulations governing nursing facilities Demonstrated track record of successful budget development, cost management, and resource allocation Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills with a proven ability to mentor staff and build cohesive teams Sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills to manage operational, clinical, staffing, and family concerns Preferred Qualifications Experience in a nonprofit skilled nursing environment Compensation and Benefits $141,000 to $156,000 per year, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with Traditional and Roth options, 100% employer match up to 2% of contributions Paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time, accrual based on length of service) 6 paid holidays Connecticut Paid Sick Leave Tuition/course reimbursement up to $4,000 annually Weekly pay To apply , submit your resume for consideration.
