Director of Nursing (LPN) - Assisted Living & Memory Care Greenwood Place Senior Living | Melbourne, FL Lead with Compassion. Make a Difference Every Day. Greenwood Place Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (LPN) to lead our clinical team and ensure exceptional care for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. What You'll Do Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, community policies, and nursing standards. Conduct pre-admission assessments for prospective residents. Complete admission, monthly, quarterly, and change-of-condition resident assessments. Develop, review, and update individualized resident care plans. Supervise and mentor nursing staff while promoting a positive team culture. Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing staff development. Monitor resident wellness and communicate changes in condition with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Review and transcribe physician orders accurately. Administer and document medications following the Five Rights of Medication Administration. Assist residents with scheduling medical, dental, and laboratory appointments. Participate in emergency preparedness planning, fire safety procedures, and community drills. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with department leaders to provide exceptional resident care and customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of Florida Assisted Living regulations and nursing best practices. Experience with resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
