We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations at Phillips State Prison in Buford, Georgia. This is a senior leadership role responsible for clinical oversight, staff supervision, compliance, and operational excellence within a correctional healthcare environment. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including: Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off and paid holidays Flexible Spending Account (FSA) And more Qualifications Key Responsibilities Provide clinical, educational, and professional leadership to nursing and support staff Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care Collaborate closely with the Contract Manager, Medical Director, Mental Health leadership, and custody partners Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Lead staffing, scheduling, performance management, and professional development initiatives Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and quality improvement Serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary leadership team focused on improving healthcare outcomes for incarcerated patients Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR certification Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check Prior nursing leadership experience strongly preferred (DON, ADON, Nurse Manager, or similar) Correctional healthcare or high-acuity leadership experience preferred indmhm #AM Share job details to
