Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation - Ellijay, GA Full-Time | Weekly Pay | $45.00-$50.00 per Hour Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care while supporting and developing a dedicated clinical team. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, promote quality outcomes, and provide leadership to the nursing department. This position also requires on-call availability to support the nursing team as needed. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with the day-to-day operations of the nursing department. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care. Promote compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Participate in hiring, orientation, training, and staff development. Assist with scheduling, staffing, and clinical workflow. Monitor documentation, audits, and quality assurance initiatives. Investigate incidents and participate in performance improvement activities. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, and families to ensure positive clinical outcomes. Serve as a clinical resource and leader for the nursing team. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide leadership support when needed. Qualifications Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous nursing leadership experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, or similar leadership role in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and quality measures. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate nursing staff. Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
