In this vital role, you will support the overall management and strategic direction of nursing services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with senior leadership to develop policies, oversee staff, and promote a culture of excellence, safety, and compassion. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering an environment where both staff and patients thrive. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance nursing operations and patient outcomes. Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and staff supervision to ensure optimal team performance. Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient allocation of resources aligned with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. Provide instructional leadership by mentoring nursing staff, supporting professional development, and promoting best practices in patient care. Lead team management efforts by fostering a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and encouraging teamwork across departments. Support organizational budget management through careful planning and resource allocation. Promote educational administration principles within the nursing department to enhance staff training programs. Contribute to executive leadership discussions on policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic growth. Requirements Proven management experience within healthcare or educational settings, preferably with school or academic leadership background. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational management. Experience in staff supervision, personnel management in education or healthcare environments, and team leadership. Background in instructional leadership in education or health-related instruction programs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.. Valid nursing license applicable to the state of employment; additional certifications in healthcare administration are advantageous. Infection prevention and wound certification preferred.
