Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department of a 45-bed nursing facility with strategic vision and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management, with a focus on nursing leadership, staff supervision, and organizational development. As Director of Nursing, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a culture of quality care and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered services while maintaining efficient and compliant nursing practices. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and healthcare standards. Oversee the management of the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and personnel development. Manage the departmental budget, including resource allocation, staffing costs, and supply procurement to optimize operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards relevant to nursing practice. Provide instructional leadership in education by supporting ongoing professional development and fostering a culture of learning among nursing staff. Lead organizational initiatives related to quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence across the nursing department. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop policies that promote effective team management and organizational growth. Supervise daily clinical operations while maintaining high standards of patient care and staff performance. Requirements Proven experience in healthcare administration with a focus on nursing leadership; prior school administrative director experience is highly desirable. Strong background in management, personnel supervision, and team leadership within a healthcare or educational setting. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management. In-depth knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or nursing education. Extensive experience in academic leadership or instructional leadership in education environments related to health sciences or nursing. Excellent management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Background in teaching or university experience related to health sciences or nursing education is preferred. Pay:
$83,200.00 - $86,000.00 per year
