Bear Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation, a nursing home in Stoneham MA, i s looking for a full-time ADON to join their team.
Qualifications:
1 year of nursing home ADON experience. Must possess skills in leadership and communication. Able to identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff. RN license Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Clinical Leadership Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations. Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with facility policies and regulations. Monitor resident care plans and nursing documentation for accuracy and completeness. Participate in resident assessments, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Respond to resident and family concerns regarding nursing care. Staff Supervision Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Assist with hiring, orientation, training, and retention of nursing personnel. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed. Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional development. Regulatory Compliance Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS guidelines. Assist with survey preparation and participate in state and federal inspections. Monitor infection prevention and control practices. Ensure timely completion of incident reports and follow-up investigations. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities. Quality Improvement Track clinical outcomes and quality indicators. Assist with implementing corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives. Review audits related to medication administration, documentation, and resident care. Support efforts to reduce hospital readmissions, falls, infections, and other adverse events. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain nursing records and reports as required. Assist with policy and procedure development and implementation. Participate in budget management and resource allocation as directed. Attend management meetings and provide updates on nursing operations. Serve as acting Director of Nursing in the DON's absence.
