Assistant Director of NursingWe are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Mountain City Rehab Center, a beautiful 88-bed skilled nursing facility located in Frostburg, Maryland. As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of resident care and satisfaction.

Job Summary:

Mountain City Rehab Center is committed to providing excellence in care and services to those we serve. As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to residents. You will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy work environment, developing a culture of high engagement, and supervising and directing Nursing Personnel to ensure the best resident care.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will:
  • Create a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care
  • Develop a culture w highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally
  • Supervise and direct Nursing Personnel to ensure the best resident care
  • Serve as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
  • Make decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
  • Participate in facility surveys
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and resident families
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Nursing licensure (RN/LPN)
  • Minimum 1 year full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred
  • Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing
  • Experience with Infection Control and Prevention preferred
  • Excellence in clinical nursing skills required
