The Center for Aesthetic Surgery is seeking an experienced, motivated Registered Nurse to serve as the Director of Nursing for our Medicare-certified, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center specializing in plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures. Responsibilities Direct all clinical nursing operations of the ambulatory surgery center. Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions for Coverage, AAAHC accreditation standards, OSHA, CDC, and applicable state and federal regulations. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate perioperative nursing staff. Oversee scheduling, staffing, competency assessments, orientation, and continuing education. Maintain and improve quality assurance, infection prevention, risk management, and patient safety programs. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics. Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Prepare for and participate in accreditation and regulatory surveys. Qualifications Current RN license (Maryland). Minimum five years of perioperative nursing experience. Previous ambulatory surgery center or operating room leadership experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of ambulatory surgery regulations and accreditation standards. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Current BLS and ACLS certification.
