Job Description

Pine Point Center, a Genesis HealthCare facility in Dover, NH, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations in our skilled nursing and long-term care center. The DON oversees nursing staff, resident care plans, and quality initiatives to ensure safe, person-centered services. Responsibilities include managing regulatory compliance, infection prevention, staffing, clinical education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Lead and manage nursing department operations and staffing Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and clinical outcomes Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Genesis Health Care regulations Implement quality improvement and infection prevention programs Develop, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Manage nursing budget, resources, and scheduling Engage residents and families to support resident-centered care Oversee staff clinical education and competency Support a culture of safety, dignity, and continuous improvement Required Skills Nursing leadership Clinical care management Long-term care regulations Quality improvement Staff scheduling Budget management Electronic health records (EHR) Infection prevention and control Interdisciplinary team coordination Resident care planning
