Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department with strategic vision and operational excellence. Oversee staffing, personnel management, and staff supervision to ensure a competent, motivated nursing team. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards governing nursing practice. Provide instructional leadership in education by supporting ongoing staff training, professional development, and competency assessments. Lead organizational initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, safety protocols, and clinical workflows. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth among nursing staff. Collaborate with hospital administration and other department leaders to align nursing strategies with overall organizational objectives. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare management with a strong background in nursing administration or leadership roles within clinical settings. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management. Extensive knowledge of state-specific education laws relevant to nursing practice and healthcare regulations. Management experience in school or educational health settings is highly desirable; familiarity with education administration is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams effectively. Experience in instructional leadership within healthcare or educational contexts related to health sciences or university programs. Excellent personnel management skills including staff supervision, team management, and conflict resolution. A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required; additional certifications in healthcare management or leadership are preferred.
