Excelcare at the Pines is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) that plays a key leadership role in supporting the Director of Nursing and ensuring the highest quality of care within our skilled nursing facility. The ADON helps oversee daily clinical operations, supports nursing staff, assists in staff development, promotes regulatory compliance, and fosters a positive, team-oriented environment. This position is ideal for a compassionate and organized nursing professional who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and maintaining excellence in clinical standards. Assistant Director of Nursing ADON Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care Support compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills We are an equal opportunity employer.
