Full-Time Schedule :
Day Shift (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) with Rotating On-Call Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Assist with the daily clinical operations of the Skilled Nursing department. Support resident assessments, individualized care planning, and clinical oversight. Ensure nursing interventions and care plans are implemented effectively. Monitor resident outcomes and quality indicators. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care. Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Staff Leadership & Development Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to nursing staff. Assist with staffing coordination and daily operational needs. Participate in employee coaching, evaluations, and performance management. Support orientation and ongoing education for nursing personnel. Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered work environment. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement Help maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Support survey readiness and regulatory inspections. Monitor documentation accuracy and clinical compliance. Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. Operational Responsibilities Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families. Assist with implementing nursing policies and best practices. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and clinical oversight. Participate in emergency preparedness and safety initiatives. Attend required meetings, training sessions, and educational programs. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligible for licensure in the state of employment). Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Post-Acute Care, or Rehabilitation. Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills. Knowledge of federal and state nursing home regulations. Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, or similar leadership role. Experience with survey preparation and regulatory compliance. Experience using Skilled Nursing electronic medical record systems.
