Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation - Reading, PA About Us Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation is a premier skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team.
Position Details Type:
Full-Time Key Responsibilities As the ADON , you will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of resident care, and supporting the facility's infection prevention and control program.
Specific responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure excellent care delivery Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Supporting and monitoring infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility Assisting with infection prevention education, surveillance, and staff training Identifying infection risks and implementing appropriate interventions in collaboration with facility leadership Conducting staff training and evaluations to foster professional growth Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes Addressing and resolving resident or family concerns related to care Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and resident-centered care
Qualifications Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the state of
Pennsylvania Experience:
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care, hospital, or related healthcare facility Familiarity with the geriatric population is preferred Experience or knowledge of infection prevention and control practices in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing care Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members Why Join Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation?
