As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care and compliance with industry standards. As ADON, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations of the nursing department, assisting in managing day-to-day nursing operations and regulatory compliance. You will also develop and maintain policies that support exceptional resident care, contribute to staffing decisions, and mentor and guide nursing staff to foster teamwork and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in managing day-to-day nursing operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain policies that support exceptional resident care.
  • Contribute to staffing decisions to ensure proper coverage.
  • Mentor and guide nursing staff, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
  • Participate in care plan meetings and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and recommend enhancements.
  • Provide direct nursing care when needed and assist during emergencies.
  • Lead in-service training and orientation programs for staff development.
What We're Looking For:
  • A compassionate leader passionate about nursing and senior care.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks, including evaluations, charting, and policy implementation.
