ClickUp Staffing is seeking a dynamic DON Director of Nursing Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with strategic vision and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing management, healthcare administration, and educational leadership within clinical or academic settings. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate patient care. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing personnel, budgets, and organizational initiatives to support high-quality healthcare delivery. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Oversee the management of the nursing department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and fiscal responsibility. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards across all nursing programs and clinical operations. Lead recruitment, staff supervision, and professional development initiatives to maintain a highly skilled nursing team. Provide instructional leadership in education programs, supporting ongoing training and curriculum development for nursing staff and students. Collaborate with academic leadership to integrate clinical practice with educational objectives, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and patient care. Manage personnel management processes including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staffing schedules to optimize team effectiveness. Promote a positive organizational culture that emphasizes teamwork, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement. Experience Proven leadership experience in healthcare administration or academic nursing environments. Extensive management background with demonstrated success in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational oversight. Familiarity with state-specific education laws related to nursing education and licensure requirements. Experience in school or university administration with a focus on instructional leadership in health sciences or related fields. Strong background in staff supervision, personnel management, and team management within clinical or educational settings. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration across departments. Prior experience in teaching or academic leadership roles within higher education institutions is highly desirable. Pay:
$88,725.91 - $106,852.71 per year
