The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director will carry responsibility for the development and implementation of rehabilitation activities in accordance with state regulations. In addition, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director will oversee service delivery by completing assessment screenings, developing individualized rehabilitation plans, monitoring/observing the work of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Counselors and reviewing documentation for quality and clinically-sound practice. This position reports to the Mental Health Operations Manager .
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and program files.
Ensures accuracy of completed billing and supervision of staff progress notes.
Relationships Develop and ensure effective, positive relationships within and among the clinical staff, patients, vendors, contractors, and related resources. Stewardship and Professionalism Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct and communications represent the organization in a highly professional manner at all times.
Uphold and ensure compliance with and attention to all corporate policies and procedures, as well as the mission and values of the organization.
PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES
Supervision of all PRP Staff Develop rehabilitation activities Review weekly note submission Review IRP reviews Review monthly summaries Ensure that proper consents to treat and consents to transport clients have been signed Chart audits to assure accurate documentation and accurate billing Quarterly reviews of client charts and PRP billing logs Annual performance review of PRP Coordinators Supervise daily activities of PRP coordinators All other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates the company mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders.
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the Program responsible for the Program's administrative functioning.
Acts as the privacy contact for the Program, maintaining all required records, logs, and systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implements all Program policies and procedures through the appropriate assignment of duties to the administrative staff.
Manages all strategic planning activities of the Program with the primary goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the Program.
Develops and maintains a productive work relationship with State and local agency representatives; actively participates in meeting customer needs and adapting to changing customer and community needs at all times; acts as liaison between the Program and State/County customers and community partners.
Manages the Program within allocated budgetary parameters as set forth by Management.
Supervises all PRP staff and establishes the vision for the Program.
Manages all strategic planning activities of the Program.
Establishes the culture of the Program and creates initiatives that reinforce the culture.
Acts as the Program's liaison to the Mental Health Operations Manager.
Reviews other licensed staff as required by staffing needs.
Provides Clinical supervision.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Masters in Social Work or Counseling with a, LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC Maryland state license.
Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional staff.
Understanding of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and the recovery philosophy.
Must be CPR and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Experience Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills. Conflict Resolution experience. Supervisory skills/experience. Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately, both oral and written. Experience with Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services and management experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with a fully insurance and reliable vehicle to be used in the course of daily work.

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
