Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Rehab Director specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rehabilitation services. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your expertise in rehabilitation medicine and clinical team leadership will drive quality outcomes, foster a positive environment for both patients and staff, and uphold compliance with all rehabilitation regulations. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys while managing the operational excellence of our rehabilitation services. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a diverse team of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to deliver top-tier rehabilitation services. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans aligned with best practices in rehabilitation medicine and physiology knowledge. Ensure compliance with all rehabilitation regulations, safety standards, and facility policies, including basic life support (BLS) and CPR certifications. Oversee patient care activities focusing on patient rehabilitation outcomes, including those with disabilities or visual impairments. Manage manual handling procedures and heavy lifting protocols to maintain safety for staff and patients during therapy sessions. Collaborate closely with clinical teams to coordinate care for patients in acute care settings and long-term care environments. Conduct regular staff training on anatomy knowledge, physiotherapy techniques, and rehabilitation regulations to promote continuous professional development. Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient progress and satisfaction in a skilled nursing facility setting. Experience Proven experience in rehabilitation services management within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. Strong background in physiotherapy or speech-language pathology with a focus on patient care and rehabilitation medicine. Demonstrated leadership in clinical team management, including supervising licensed therapists and support personnel. Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and the regulatory landscape governing rehabilitation practices. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments is highly desirable. Familiarity with acute care environments and long-term care operations enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive patient-centered services. Certification in CPR/BLS is required; additional credentials related to rehabilitation medicine are preferred. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
