Job Description Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician II Mid Night shift position We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician II to perform high-quality electroencephalogram studies and provide essential neurological monitoring support. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of study completion and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and video EEG studies with high quality and accuracy Conduct seizure monitoring and provide real-time clinical support Scan, correlate, and clip study information according to departmental standards Facilitate all aspects of study completion and ensure timely reporting Communicate effectively with clinical staff and patients to support quality patient care Maintain technical proficiency and stay current with EEG equipment and protocols Willing to travel to various sites: Grosse Pointe Farms West Bloomfield Taylor Troy Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Two or more years of experience performing EEG procedures, OR graduation from an accredited EEG technician program Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R.EEG T.) credential or board eligibility status through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited EEG Technician program Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
