XstremeMD Medics provide compassionate, professional medical support in remote environmentscombining patient care, telemedicine, occupational testing, emergency readiness, and strong client communication.
WHAT YOULL DO
Provide remote health care services and support patient assessment, care planning, treatment, and follow-up. Deliver efficient health care utilizing telemedicine and assist physicians with patient care while on project. Manage medical welfare for personnel in remote locations and respond quickly to emergencies. Perform biometric and occupational testing, including audiometry, PFT, respiratory fit testing, and DOT/non-DOT urine drug collections. Maintain accurate EMR documentation, patient encounter logs, follow-ups, and required paperwork. Maintain clinic readiness, equipment competency, medication/supply inventory, audits, inspections, and a clean workspace. Support Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERPs), safety meetings, regulatory compliance, and client training as required.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Professional, compassionate patient care with strong confidentiality and sound judgment. Clear communication with clients, XstremeMD staff, crew members, physicians, and case managers. Independent, organized work while contributing effectively to a healthcare and safety-focused team.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
1+ year of industrial medical experience in a remote medical environment preferred. 3+ years of medical experience in an ambulance or emergency room setting preferred. Working knowledge of HSEQ practices, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety protocols. Strong computer and EMR skills, organization, communication, leadership, and teamwork. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, handle sensitive situations, and maintain a professional demeanor.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
BLS and ACLS NREMT / State Paramedic Certification
CERTIFICATIONS AVAILABLE THROUGH XMD
Advanced Remote Emergency Medical Management (AREMM) PFT and COHC (Audiometry) Certifications UDS and BAT Certifications
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Willingness to work overtime, additional shifts, weekends, and holidays as requested. Must be able to assist patients with mobility and transfers up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
