Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines. ​This role is in our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in our East Orlando location.

Schedule :

Monday

•Friday (variable Days/ Hours) flexibility is required. Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies. Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring. Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician. Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure. Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions. [Required] Ability to work irregular hours including call hours. [Required] Knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of Gastroenterology. [Required]

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ work related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support

•CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]
