1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy Tech with 2+ years of experience for a Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. Details Level III trauma center with a 198-bed facility Endoscopy unit with 4 total procedure rooms (2 inpatient, 2 outpatient at a nearby site) Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday On-call requirements include 2 weeknight calls per week and 1 weekend per month, paid at callback rate Weekend hours are on-call only Floats between inpatient and outpatient Endoscopy units 1:1 patient ratio Patient population includes EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy cases Common procedures include screening colonoscopy, polypectomy, variceal banding, esophageal dilation, and biopsy Uses Olympus scopes and Medivator AER equipment Utilizes Cerner EHR for charting Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Tech BLS certification required (American Heart Association) SGNA certification required, if applicable High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in tech role within procedure rooms and endoscope reprocessing required Additional Information Assist with in-room tech duties during endoscopy procedures Perform endoscope reprocessing following procedures Work alongside a collaborative endoscopy team Facility has been recognized as a Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. and received a Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare
